Purchasing books and services on Bookmundo
When publishing your book with us, your book will automatically appear in our webshop (assuming you’ve put it up for sale). Our store is international, and available in multiple languages. Users can search for books via genre, author, or book title. The blurb and short description you wrote when creating your book will be displayed next to an image of the front cover in the store. When people find your book in our store, they’ll be able to order it with a click; each sale is then reported under ‘Sales Results’ tab on your user profile.
We take the greatest possible care when fulfilling orders for services and goods.
The prices of services and goods on the website and in the shop include VAT and exclude shipping costs. Shipping costs are shown in the checkout screen. The prices of services and goods are subject to change.
The payment methods are indicated in the payment screen. Standard payment methods are credit cards and PayPal. All services and goods require payment in advance.
When a credit card payment is made, the customer’s card will be charged immediately.
The delivery times indicated on the website for services and goods are indicative. No rights can be derived from them.
The delivery address is the address you have indicated.
The books we deliver are made custom-made for the user (author or customer). This is done via Printing-on-demand: after a book is ordered, one of our printers initiates the printing and shipping process. As such, our books are custom-made products that are not in stock and cannot be taken back by us.
In the event of force majeure, we have the right, at our discretion, to suspend the execution of an order or to dissolve the agreement without judicial intervention. This is done by notifying you in writing and without us being liable for any compensation.

FAQ
How can I pay in the Bookmundo store?
You can pay with PayPal or credit card. We accept all major credit cards.
Is VAT (sales tax) included in the prices on the website?
Yes, VAT is included in the prices.
Do I receive an invoice or proof of payment?
Yes, you can always download an electronic invoice; simply log into your account, go to “My Orders”, and select the order you wish to download an invoice for. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you’ll find the “Invoices” section, where you can download your invoice as a PDF.
Where can I see the status of my order?
By going logging into your account and going to “My Orders”, you can see the status of each of your orders displayed in the “Status” column. If you want to see how far your order has progressed throughout the entire handling process, simply click on the order you want to know more about, and you’ll see which steps have already been completed, as well as how many are left.
Can I trace my package?
Yes, you can trace your package if its total weight exceeds 5 kilograms. To do this, log in to your account, click on “My Orders”, and then click on the “Details” button next to the relevant order. You will then see an info box entitled “Shipping Information”. At the bottom, under “Tracking Information”, you’ll find a track and trace code you can use to find out where your package is.
May I return purchased books?
Our books are printed on demand for the client or customer, meaning that when an order is placed, our printers will start printing, binding and shipping the book(s) in question. As such, our books are custom-made products that aren’t stocked, meaning that we cannot accept returns.
I received my order, but the books are damaged/have printing errors!
Unfortunately, accidents do some times happen. In this case, please notify us by sending an email containing an explanation of the damage/error (including pictures), and we’ll arrange for the books to be replaced.
Are there costs involved with returning an order?
The applicable postage and packaging costs are borne by you. There are no additional costs involved.
What delivery times can I expect?
We deliver purchased books to the address specified within 4-5 business days. Books purchased in a bookstore may be delivered within two days.
What are the postage and packaging costs?
The delivery costs for a standard book are about £2,50. However, this may differ per country.
How will my books be delivered?
A single copy (or a batch of thin books) will be delivered via mail, since the order will generally fit in your mailbox. Should they not fit (which depends on the size of the books) we use a delivery service. Packages will also be delivered to your home.
What happens if I’m not at home at the time of delivery?
The same procedure as with any other package will apply: you will find a note in your mail informing you of the time and date of their next delivery attempt. You can also contact the delivery service to arrange a new delivery time.
