Our self-publishing platform is one way to do that, but for most people, the publishing journey starts way before (and continues long after) publishing tools enter the picture. As people try to orient themselves in the world of publishing, access to reliable, up-to-date information is key. With over a decade of experience, we think it’s our duty to contribute to this body of knowledge and help people on their publishing journeys.
In order to provide you with helpful, actionable information, we’ve formulated a few guiding publishing principles to hold ourselves to. This has nothing to do with the books that you publish on our platform. Rather, the following principles outline what you can expect from the content we publish on our website (articles, info pages, etc.), and if you find something which you think fails to meet these principles, we’d love to receive your feedback. Naturally, if you think we’re doing a great job, our hard-working copywriters would love to hear that too!

Writing a book is hard work. Writing a book and publishing it on your own is even harder. The last thing you need when looking for information that can help you achieve your publishing goals is a sugarcoated sales pitch. That’s why we are going to be straight with you. We strive to be the best independent publishing solution out there, of course, but we’re not the best at everything, nor do we offer the perfect solution for everyone. Nevertheless, we can provide solid, helpful information to anyone interested in publishing their book. - Accessibility
Anyone can publish a book. Some routes to publication are harder than others, but in addition to our publishing platform, we aim to equip aspiring authors with the information they need, whether they aim to publish through Bookmundo or elsewhere. - Clarity
Jargon serves a purpose, but unfortunately, it’s often used to sanitise and obscure. We’re not on board with that. Our aim is to keep our content to the point, and only get technical if it benefits the reader. - Genuineness
We’re as tired of clickbait as you are. That’s why we endeavour to present content as advertised. No sensational titles full of empty promises, no disingenuous universal fixes. - Professional Knowledge and Insights
